The Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) is a non-commercial alliance of over 20 international tea packers who share a vision for a thriving global tea sector that is socially just and environmentally sustainable. ETP works to monitor and improve working, living and environmental conditions on producer estates supplying ETP member companies and facilitates third-party certification at members’ request. The ETP covers all the major tea producing regions and works directly with producers through its regional managers based in Kenya, India, China, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. ETP also works to improve the lives of tea workers by developing projects with partners that address the underlying issues that are restricting the sustainability of the sector.
